A Word
From Our Founder
The Second Golden Age was aimed at creating a campaign, a call to action for like-minded Muslims to rally around. It’s not about science or academia per se, it’s about the mindset itself. It’s about each and every one of us working towards this grand future, using our own unique skills, knowledge and talent Allah has blessed us with to fulfil our own potential above all.
The people of the golden age excelled BECAUSE they were deeply connected to the Quran, they were clear about their purpose – to worship God and serve Him – and would stop at nothing to ensure they learned as much as possible to serve better. This attitude led them to new discoveries and advances.
We don’t want this to be a project where we look back at history ruefully. We want to look forward and help to build a bright future. A future where we have produced a new Ibn Sina, a new Ibn Haytham, a new Al Khwarizmi. Where we are nurturing the future Rumi, Allama Iqbal, Imam Ghazali and Malcolm X.
I hope this can be you.
